Linsco are delighted to be working alongside our client, a well-established and growing groundwork and civil engineering contractor looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Northern Home Counties Region based out of Northampton.
Our client predominantly operates within the residential groundworks sector, delivering roads, sewers, infrastructure, bulk earthworks and housing plot groundworks for a number of major housebuilders and developers across the region.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced commercial professional looking to join a growing business, overseeing multiple residential groundwork and infrastructure projects across the Northern Home Counties region.
- Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of multiple residential groundwork projects
- Prepare and manage project budgets, valuations and final accounts
- Monitor project costs and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage subcontractor procurement, payments and variations
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities across projects
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered within budget
- Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
- Support the Commercial Director and regional leadership team with reporting and commercial strategy
Previous experience working within residential groundworks or civil engineering projects
Experience managing multiple live projects simultaneously
Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification such as HNC/HND
Strong attention to detail and financial awareness
Valid CSCS Card
Full UK Driving Licence
Strong salary package with extremely generous car allowance on offer
