About the Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Quantity Surveyor to oversee the commercial and contractual management of electrical installation projects. This is a long-term career opportunity with a clear pathway toward progression and shared growth. You'll play a key role in cost control, tendering, procurement, variations, and final accounts - ensuring projects are delivered profitably, compliantly, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts
- Manage and negotiate tenders
- Ensure LOIs/POs are in place before works begin
- Produce buying schedules with the Project Manager
- Analyse drawings, specs revisions for accurate cost control
- Procure and approve subcontract packages
- Prepare and submit client applications on time
- Attend project meetings and manage correspondence
- Manage variations, change requests, add/omits
- Produce detailed take-offs
- Issue contractual notifications and ensure compliance
- Prepare, submit agree final accounts
- Support risk management and maintain risk/opportunity registers
- Maintain ongoing CPD and industry knowledge
