Job Description Senior Quantity Surveyor \n Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor - Residential New Build Location: Nottingham Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum (DOE) Additional: Company Car or car allowance Job Type: Full-time - Permanent \n Linsco are delighted to be working alongside our client, who are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Nottingham. \n This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in high-volume residential house building, looking to take responsibility for the commercial management of a number of developments. \n Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will work closely with the wider commercial and construction teams to manage costs, maximise profitability and ensure developments are delivered in line with budgets, programmes and business objectives. \n Key Duties: \n \n Take responsibility for the commercial management of designated residential developments. \n Prepare and review monthly valuations, cost reports and commercial forecasts. \n Manage subcontractor relationships and ensure contractual requirements are met. \n Provide detailed cost and budget analysis throughout the build programme. \n Attend regular subcontractor meetings to review performance and commercial progress. \n Produce commercial reports and KPI updates for the Commercial Director. \n Ensure all commercial processes, expenditure and reporting comply with company policies and procedures. \n \n Required Skills & Experience: \n \n Proven Quantity Surveying experience within a high-volume residential housebuilding environment. \n Strong understanding of construction contracts, commercial procedures and surveying practices. \n Good understanding of build methods, sequencing and their financial implications. \n Strong commercial and financial management skills. \n Experience managing subcontractors, procurement and valuations. \n Strong Microsoft Excel and general IT skills. \n Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a wider commercial team. \n \n What They Offer: \n \n Highly competitive salary, dependent on experience \n Company car or car allowance of over £5k \n Discretionary bonus scheme \n 26 days annual leave + bank holidays \n Company pension scheme \n Private Medical Insurance \n Life Assurance Scheme \n Share Purchase Plan \n High Street and retail discounts \n Ongoing training, development and genuine career progression opportunities \n \n If you are an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a background in residential housebuilding and are interested in joining a growing and established developer, please apply with an updated CV or contact Rich at Linsco for further information. \n Applications \n If you feel that you have the relevant experience to be successful in this position and would like to find out more, please apply online today, attaching a copy of your current CV. \
