The role
Linsco is working with well established and highly reputable company who are looking for a experience Design Engineer to join their team due to growth.

Ideally, we are looking for a candidate who comes from a housing background however my client will also consider a candidate from a Construction/Civils background.
Candidates must have experience of road and sewer design and progressing Section 38 and Section 104 approvals, knowledge of PDS required but not essential
Duties
- Undertake the required highway and drainage designs for projects, to secure the approval of and, where appropriate, progress the adoption agreement with the relevant Statutory Authority.
- Ensure the earthworks required across a development is designed in the most cost-effective way possible.
- To achieve the most cost-effective solution to construct and service the site.
- Advise the Land & Planning department on the technical viability of new sites.
- Assist in the production of layouts and technical report for Land Appraisals; and required working drawings.
- Undertake the engineering design from land appraisal through to construction issue.
- Appointing appropriate consultants, agreeing fees in-line with budgets, liaising with statutory authorities, and ensuring that design sits within budget.
