Hours: 07:30am - 5:30pm, 5 shifts per week but must include the weekends.
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to work on an industrial project in Peterborough. This is a fantastic freelance opportunity with a well-respected contractor, offering 5/6 months of work on an exciting and rewarding project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all aspects of the Industrial project, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
- Leading weekly programme meetings to track progress and address challenges.
- Managing and maintaining Health & Safety standards on-site, ensuring compliance with legislation and company policies.
- Coordinating and supervising subcontractors, suppliers, and the site team.
- Using IT systems to manage project documentation and reporting effectively.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in managing industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and their application on-site.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, capable of leading programme meetings with confidence.
- IT literate and proficient in using project management tools and software.
- A proactive leader who takes ownership of challenges and delivers results.
Qualifications:
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
- First Aid Certificate.
- CSCS Card (Black/Gold preferred).
