We are currently recruiting for reliable, heavy-duty CSCS Demolition and Strip-Out Labourers for immediate starts on a fast-track commercial fit-out and major interior refurbishment project in the NR34 area (Beccles / Lowestoft).
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Commercial Soft-Strip: Executing systematic internal strip-outs, removing non-structural fixtures, suspended ceilings, partition walls, and commercial floor coverings.
- Waste Management & Logistics: Safely clearing, moving, and segregating strip-out debris into designated commercial waste streams.
- Supporting Specialist Trades: Assisting interior contractors, partitioners, and specialist environmental strip-out teams.
- Site Safety Compliance: Maintaining clear, orderly, and safe working environments in strict accordance with commercial interior safety policies.
Requirements & Compliance Vetting
- Valid CSCS Card: Essential (Qualification and card status checks will be completed digitally via the CITB database).
- Interior Site Experience: Proven experience working on commercial fit-out, high-end retail shopfitting, or interior refurbishment strip-outs.
- Asbestos Awareness (UKATA/IATP): Highly advantageous given the specialist interior nature of our client’s framework.
- Right to Work Documentation: Biometric passport, share code, or birth certificate.
- Payment & Payroll: Umbrella, or approved PAYE details.
- Full Site PPE: Steel toe-cap boots, hi-vis vest/jacket, hard hat, safety glasses, and high-cut-resistant safety gloves.
