We are seeking an experienced Social Work Team Manager to lead the award-winning Reach Out Domestic Abuse Service in Ilford. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a specialist team supporting children, adults and families affected by domestic abuse, while driving improvements across social care practice.
The Role
You will provide operational leadership for the Reach Out service, including the Open Up Behaviour Change Team, working across Children’s and Adults Social Care. You will lead a skilled team, promote high-quality safeguarding practice and support improved outcomes for survivors of domestic abuse.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and provide leadership to a specialist domestic abuse service.
- Support staff development through effective supervision and performance management.
- Embed trauma-informed practice and the Safe’s and adults services.
- Drive service improvement and ensure effective safeguarding responses.
- Promote positive outcomes for children, adults and families impacted by domestic abuse.
Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
- Significant experience within social care.
