This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers and experienced tutors who are passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning, particularly those with SEND, care experience, or who have become disengaged from education. The Role As an Outreach Tutor, you will provide personalised one-to-one tuition, helping pupils build confidence, improve their educational outcomes and re-engage with learning. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering high-quality, tailored one-to-one tuition in person. Planning sessions around each pupil s individual learning needs and agreed targets. Adapting teaching methods to suit different abilities, learning styles and additional needs. Supporting pupils who may have experienced gaps in education or difficulties engaging with mainstream provision. Building positive and supportive relationships with pupils. Monitoring attendance, engagement and progress. Providing brief progress updates following sessions.
