Education, Health & Care Plan (EHCP) Coordinator Location: Remote Rate: £226.60 per day Umbrella Contract: Locum / Temporary Hours: Full-time We are recruiting for an experienced EHCP Coordinator to join a busy SEN Service on a remote basis. The successful candidate will manage a designated caseload of children and young people aged 0–25, coordinating EHC needs assessments and plans in line with statutory requirements and the SEND Code of Practice. Key Responsibilities * Manage a caseload of EHCP assessments and plans. * Coordinate the statutory 20-week EHC needs assessment process. * Write high-quality, person-centred and legally compliant EHCPs. * Liaise with parents, schools, colleges, health professionals and other agencies. * Attend and chair annual reviews, including complex cases and phase transfers. * Ensure statutory deadlines, service standards and performance targets are met. * Provide advice and guidance regarding SEN Support and the Local Offer. * Maintain accurate case records and ensure appropriate data protection and confidentiality. * Support complex casework, including Tribunal and legal proceedings where required. Requirements * Previous experience as an EHCP Coordinator / SEN Case Officer or similar role. * Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and SEN legislation. * Experience managing EHCP caseloads and statutory timescales. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong multi-agency working and organisational skills. * Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. * Commitment to a child-centred, outcome-focused approach.
