Senior Social Worker – Risk Outside the Home (ROTH)

Location: London, Greater London

Pay Rate: £274.58 per day (Umbrella)

Contract: Full-Time | Temporary

We are recruiting an experienced Senior Social Worker to join a specialist Risk Outside the Home (ROTH) Team in London. This role focuses on supporting adolescents aged 11+ who are at risk of exploitation, serious youth violence, missing episodes, and other contextual safeguarding concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a complex caseload of adolescents and their families.
  • Undertake statutory assessments and interventions.
  • Complete Section 47 investigations.
  • Attend Strategy Meetings and chair Child in Need (CIN) Meetings.
  • Work closely with multi-agency partners to safeguard young people.
  • Prepare high-quality assessments, reports, and care plans.

Requirements:

  • Social Work England registration.
  • Social Work qualification.
  • Minimum two years' post-qualified experience in Children's Services.
  • Experience completing Section 47 investigations, attending Strategy Meetings, and chairing CIN Meetings.
  • A passion for working with adolescents in high-risk and complex situations.
