Hours: 3–4 days per week
Working Pattern: Hybrid, with 2–3 days per week in schools
We are seeking an experienced Strategic School Improvement Lead to support the delivery of Lambeth’s education priorities across primary and secondary schools. The successful candidate will work closely with headteachers, governing bodies, academies and education leadership teams to drive school improvement, raise educational standards and improve outcomes for pupils.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate school improvement strategies across Lambeth schools.
- Provide challenge, advice and support to headteachers and senior leaders.
- Monitor school performance, analyse data and identify risks and areas for intervention.
- Support schools requiring targeted improvement and develop effective intervention plans.
- Provide leadership development, training and professional support.
- Work with governance teams to strengthen school leadership and governance.
- Build effective relationships with maintained schools, academies and trusts.
- Produce reports and recommendations for senior management.
About You
You will have significant experience in school improvement, education leadership or local authority education services, with a strong understanding of school performance, leadership, governance and intervention.
