Lambeth Council is seeking an experienced Children’s Social Worker to join the CAT Team within Children’s Social Care. The role involves managing a complex caseload, undertaking assessments, care planning and safeguarding enquiries, and working collaboratively with children, families and partner agencies. You will also contribute to child protection, looked-after children and care proceedings work, including court reports and professional recommendations.

Key requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with current HCPC registration
  • Strong experience in statutory children’s social care
  • Experience managing complex safeguarding and child protection cases
  • Excellent assessment, report-writing and multi-agency working skills
  • Ability to work autonomously while using supervision effectively

Location: Lambeth

Rate: £39.04 per hour Umbrella

Department: Children’s Social Care

Grade: PO3

Mandatory: Must have a UK Passport or a Full Right to Work in the UK
