We are seeking a confident, dynamic and experienced Senior Social Worker / Senior Practitioner to join a Children s Services team in Bromley. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner passionate about safeguarding children, managing complex cases and achieving positive outcomes for children and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of Child in Need, Child Protection, Public Law Outline (PLO) and care proceedings cases.
- Work with children and young people up to the age of 18.
- Undertake complex safeguarding assessments and interventions.
- Manage permanence planning and promote safe, stable outcomes for children.
- Undertake direct work with children and families and build effective professional relationships.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies and contribute to multi-agency safeguarding plans.
- Prepare reports and evidence for court proceedings and attend court when required.
- Maintain accurate case records and demonstrate sound professional judgement and decision-making.
Essential Requirements
- Recognised Social Work degree (BA/MA or equivalent) essential.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Minimum 2 years experience working at Senior Practitioner level.
