We are recruiting for an experienced Team Manager to lead the Reach Out Domestic Abuse Service in Ilford, Greater London. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled social care manager to provide operational leadership to a specialist domestic abuse service supporting adults, children, and families affected by domestic abuse. You will lead a dedicated team, drive service improvements, and ensure high-quality, trauma-informed support is delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the Reach Out team, including specialist domestic abuse practitioners.
  • Provide effective supervision, support, and professional development.
  • Oversee safeguarding practice, risk management, and quality standards.
  • Promote survivor-centred and strengths-based approaches.
  • Work closely with children’s services, adult social care, and partner agencies.
  • Support service development and improve outcomes for families.
  • Embed best practice approaches, including the Safe & Together model.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
  • Previous management experience within social care, safeguarding, or domestic abuse services.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic abuse practice, risk assessment, and safeguarding frameworks.
  • Experience leading teams and improving service delivery.
  • Excellent partnership working and communication skills.
