Linq are partnered with one of the UK's leading mental health groups, who are looking for an experienced Lead Occupational Therapist to join their North London site. You would be responsible for leading the Occupational Therapy team to ensure effective and high-quality delivery of the Occupational Therapy group programme and individual patient and family support. You will be joining a service for adults and adolescents with Mental Health issues.
Responsibilities:
- Working with patients to identify occupational therapy goals as part of the overall care plan
- Ability to carry out and supervise others to carry out the range of occupational therapy assessments, interventions and group work
- Oversee Occupational Therapy team members participation as members of the multi-disciplinary team, contributing to decisions with regard to patient care programmes when required
- Plan, organise and be accountable for the management of required workload, including a clinical caseload when necessary
Requirements:
- Dip COT/BSc OT/MSc OT
- HCPC Registration
- RCOT Registration
- Experience working as a Senior Occupational Therapist in mental health and/or acute settings
- At least 3 years post qualifying experience.
