Our North Sea client requires several Siemens D8 or D11 General Walkdown Inspectors.
Core Technical Qualifications- Siemens D8/D11 Experience: Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience on Siemens D8 turbines needed, with D11 experience being highly desirable.
- Authorisation Level: Siemens Authorised Technicians (Level 4 or higher).
- Walkdown Expertise: Proven experience in conducting general walkdowns, which involves systematic visual inspections of turbine components to identify wear or safety hazards.
- Technical Background: A professional background in mechanical or electrical engineering, often requiring an NVQ Level 3 or 4 or a full apprenticeship.
- Valid GWO certification, including Working at Heights, First Aid, Manual Handling, and Fire Awareness.
- Specific Siemens Training: Qualification as a Competent Person for inspecting Turbine Mounted Safety Equipment TMSE anchor points.
- HSE Training: Completion of platform-specific safety cases.
