Job Summary

We are recruiting for a team of experienced Wind Turbine Professionals to drive the assembly, installation, and quality assurance of a wind energy project at Stranraer, Scotland. We are looking for hands-on and proactive leaders to manage pre-installation, mechanical assemblies, cable works, and QA compliance. Prior Vestas experience is essential and the specific turbines are V162, 4 MW.

Key Positions We Are Sourcing:

  • Team Leader / Support: Prep, Preinstallation, Mechanical & Cable (incl. EnVentus)
  • Quality Assurance (QA) Team Leader & Support

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute hands-on mechanical builds, cable installation, and pre-assembly on wind turbine components.
  • Act as a Team Leader, mentoring technicians, managing daily operations, and conducting toolbox talks.
  • Implement and enforce Quality Assurance (QA) standards, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with project manuals.
  • Coordinate lifting, slinging, and banking operations on site safely.
  • Interpret technical drawings, AWP/PWI method statements, and ensure accurate reporting.

Essential Requirements & Tickets

  • Prior Vestas experience is essential, and the specific turbines are V162, 4 MW.
  • Safety & Technical: BST (Basic Safety Training) and full BTT (Basic Technical Training), including Bolt Tightening and Installation.
  • Lifting & Tele handling: CCNSG, CPCS (Slinger Banksman/Telehandler), or NPORS equivalent.
  • Access Equipment: IPAF 3a & 3b (or equivalent machine tickets).
