At Linney, we work with a range of clients from all sizes and sectors, many of which are household names — from beauty clients to high street food and beverage chains.

- You will understand the nuances of how brands need to “show up” online, whether that’s leaning into entertainment or delivering human-centred B2B content on LinkedIn.
- The successful candidate will be as organised as you are creative, being able to spot a trend and suggest a brand-relevant execution – while also managing content plans with a 3 month lead time, constantly reviewing performance and ensuring our clients are the ones people chat about on LinkedIn.
- They will have input into and vision of content strategy for our clients, while educating the wider business on social media and keeping them updated with innovations and future trends.
- There will be times when the role works hand in hand with our Content Creators and we expect the candidate to understand creating content for social, ideally social-first video content.
- Their understanding of social platform analytics means they will always have an eye on improving performance and understand the relevant commentary to give clients on a monthly or quarterly reporting cadence.
Specifics:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in managing social media for brands across a range of sectors, with a knowledge of channels including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Snapchat, X (FKA Twitter) and more.
- Experience in creation content calendars, from ideation to presentation and execution.
- A deep understanding of online culture, social media best practices and cultural trends.
- Copywriting skills that can flex to the tone of a client or channel mix.
- Capable of managing large volumes of work and being organised in a way to leverage content production to provide maximum output and return for clients.
- Experience working with brands from a range of sectors.
- Shooting content with a smartphone and lightweight editing in CapCut or Premier Pro (we have content creators to support).
- A finger on the pulse of trends and the ability to know when and how we can join these trends as our clients.
- Keen eye for detail, always double-checking before content goes live.
- Keep on the pulse with new platforms, their updates and how we can leverage these for clients — happy to be a thought leader for the agency, both internally and externally.
