About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and organised People Administrator to join our People Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering a great employee experience. You'll play a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations administration, compliance and people projects. Working closely with managers and colleagues across the business, you'll help ensure our people processes are efficient, compliant and employee-focused.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the recruitment process, helping to deliver a positive candidate experience from application through to offer
  • Coordinate preboarding, onboarding and induction activities for new starters
  • Complete right to work checks and support compliance-related processes
  • Maintain accurate employee records and data within HR systems
  • Prepare people-related documentation, including letters, meeting notes and employment records
  • Support formal meetings, investigations and hearings, ensuring accurate administration and record keeping
  • Assist with the development and continuous improvement of people policies and processes
  • Contribute to wider People team projects and initiatives
  • Ensure all activities are carried out in line with UK employment legislation and company policies
  • Work closely with managers and employees, providing professional and responsive people support

About You

We're looking for an organised and approachable HR professional who takes pride in providing excellent support and building strong relationships. You'll ideally have:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification
  • Suitable experience in an HR Administration, HR Coordinator or generalist HR role
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and employment legislation
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A highly organised and structured approach to work
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent administrative skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Sound judgement and problem-solving ability
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and HR systems
