As one of our Account Managers you will be an essential part of the client service team, working on one of our agency’s biggest accounts. This role is critical for transforming client goals into engaging creative work. We are looking for an additional Account Manager to act as an extension of our client’s marketing team, who will build client relationships and a deep understanding of their strategy to grow and develop Linney’s influence, ensuring that we continue to challenge and innovate, both short term and long term.

You will be someone that understands our client's world and is able to be proactive in responding to briefs, problem-solving and thinking creatively – at pace. You’ll work with a team of project managers, often being the conduit between a project and the client's wider objectives. You will have experience in and understand the creative world, with the ability to bring fresh thinking to the table. Previous creative agency experience is desirable, or experience at managing complex projects across several channels. Experience in creative campaigns, print, social, film and digital will be beneficial. You will mostly be based at Linney Create in Nottinghamshire but be willing to travel to client premises, on a regular basis in London (travel expenses will be covered).

Core responsibilities include:

  • Client leadership: acting as a key point of contact, building long-term, trusted relationships with key stakeholders, and understanding their business goals to provide strategic advice.
  • Team direction & briefing: translating client needs into actionable, high-quality creative briefs. Be the conduit between various teams to ensure a consistent client experience. Lead on challenging briefs where necessary and contributing to strategic planning.
  • Commercial growth: identifying opportunities to grow Linney’s influence through a deep understanding of our full capabilities and ability to spot opportunities.
  • Proactive thinking & problem solving: confidently having a helicopter view of all projects and be the temperature check with clients to ensure that workflows are efficient and effective.

Required experience & skills:

  • Agency background: typically, a minimum of 6-years’ experience in a creative or integrated agency, or relevant client-side role.
  • Relationship management: strong interpersonal skills for senior-level client management.
  • Commercial acumen: a strong understanding of both account and project profitability, budgeting and commercial growth.
  • Organisation: high attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
  • Campaign management and collaboration: proven track record of managing integrated campaigns with multiple teams and complex deliverables.
