As we continue to scale and grow, we are looking for a strategic Head of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and elevate our group brand presence across all channels. You will own and execute the group‑wide marketing strategy that drives awareness, engagement, and growth across our varied business areas, services and sectors. You will be responsible for building a unified group brand narrative while supporting the unique positioning and lead‑generation needs of each business unit and service offering.

Working closely with the executive board directors, group sales team, and client services teams, you will blend strategic thinking with execution excellence to help the business grow sustainably and measurably.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership and Brand
    • Develop and lead the overall B2B marketing strategy aligned with business goals, business unit and service‑line objectives.
    • Develop and champion the Linney brand, ensuring appropriate messaging across all channels and touchpoints.
    • Define and manage the marketing budget with clear ROI goals and performance tracking.
    • Support future GTM activity associated with service expansion and propositions.
    • Translate complex propositions into clear commercial stories.
    • Drive consistency across internal and external communications.
    • Close and continuous alignment with Linney Subject Matter Experts & Product Leads.
  • Campaign & Content Execution
    • Design and implement integrated campaigns to support lead generation and sales enablement.
    • Oversee the creation of tailored marketing materials for different service lines and customer segments.
    • Leverage data and insights to optimise campaign performance and lead generation across channels.
  • Team & Stakeholder Management
    • Lead and develop the internal marketing team.
    • Source and manage external partners/agencies where applicable.
    • Collaborate with business unit leaders to understand market dynamics and service propositions.
    • Act as a strategic adviser to the executive team on brand positioning and market opportunities.
    • Collaborate with sales leaders across the group to ensure that proposed campaigns and activities align with targeting aspirations.
    • Support and leverage wider group communications, such as ESG achievements or award nominations.
  • Digital & Performance Marketing
    • Build and scale a predictable demand generation engine.
    • Multi‑channel campaign orchestration (paid, organic, events, content).
    • Implement and oversee all marketing automation and CRM tools to improve targeting, tracking, and conversion.
    • Ownership of marketing technology stack and optimisation roadmap.
    • Integration with CRM and reporting systems.
    • Continuous improvement of automation, workflow and data quality.
    • Create content that supports both brand and sales conversations.
  • Thought Leadership & Brand Building
    • Establish and grow the company’s profile through thought leadership, content strategy, and media relations.
    • Identify speaking opportunities, awards, and partnerships to elevate market positioning for identified services.
  • Drive Marketing Innovation
    • Identify and implement emerging technologies, including AI‑powered tools, to enhance marketing effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Respond swiftly to market and technology shifts, ensuring the marketing function remains agile and future‑focused.
    • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and digital adoption within the marketing team.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as part of a leadership team, in a senior B2B or B2C marketing role, ideally in a service‑led or multi‑offer environment.
  • Track record of building strategic and influential relationships with board directors and other senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to execute marketing strategies that support complex service portfolios.
  • Strong grasp of digital marketing, demand generation, content marketing, and brand development.
  • Commercially minded with strong analytical skills and a results‑driven mindset.
  • Ability to develop a clear KPI framework, beyond ROI, to consistently drive improved performance.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, agile environment with shifting priorities.
  • Experience leading and developing a team and managing external agencies.
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Adopts a test‑and‑learn mindset.
  • Demonstrates creativity, fresh ideation and energy across projects and workstreams.
  • Confident presenter and storyteller.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
