Linney is a world-class, multichannel marketing services business. We are seeking an experienced account director to help us deliver outstanding service for our clients. Linney Create is a 220-strong creative agency in the heart of the East Midlands. We are looking for an experienced Account Director to join the team, supporting our digital signage managed service portfolio of clients and our ambition for growth. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker in the digital signage sector.
You will be responsible for nurturing client relationships and driving incremental growth through innovative signage solutions across sectors such as retail, QSR, corporate, and public spaces. You will be adept at understanding client and market dilemmas and be able to help our clients overcome them, deliver on their ambitions and bring their brands to market effectively through the use of digital signage. You will be able to evaluate and respond to creative, technical and support proposals and RFPs with complete confidence, creating opportunities with clients, and exploring ways to help grow their and our business.
An excellent communicator, you will be flexible and organised, with excellent presentation skills and a high level of commercial acumen. Our ideal candidate will be a confident and creative multi-tasker who is calm under pressure, proactive and collaborative. A problem-solver and strategic thinker, you will be able to deliver on time, meeting client deadlines.
Key responsibilities:- Support our wider Account Direction team in upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing client accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams (technical, creative, operations) to ensure seamless delivery
- Deliver compelling presentations, proposals, responses to RFPs and tenders, and host product demonstrations
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform future strategy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, representing their needs internally
- Provide accurate project pipeline updates and client feedback
- Plan the delivery of, and represent the company at industry events and exhibitions
- An impressive track record in supporting the Head of Digital Signage (or similar) in securing large scale managed service digital signage projects (Content, software, hardware, ongoing maintenance and support)
- Commercial drive and acumen and a technical understanding of all aspects of high value, multi-million-pound digital signage projects
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent computer skills on Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in a creative or digital signage agency environment
- Proven leadership skills and a real desire to exceed expectations
