Role: Multidisciplinary Technician

Location: Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists

Job type: Permanent, part‑time, 33.5 hours per week.

Hours: Mon-Fri plus 1:4 Saturdays

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across clinical, kennel, and laboratory areas.
  • Follow strict infection control protocols to prevent cross‑contamination.
  • Clean and disinfect equipment, surfaces, and patient areas.
  • Ensure appropriate waste disposal in line with clinical guidelines.
  • Safely handle and restrain patients for procedures, examinations, and treatments.
  • Assist with patient movement and positioning.
  • Provide basic patient care, ensuring comfort and welfare at all times.
  • Support the veterinary team during procedures as required.
  • Assist with sample preparation and processing.
  • Accurately record all laboratory tests and ensure they are correctly entered into the system.
  • Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organisation.
  • Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and ready for use.

You can find us in Hampshire, just south of Winchester, close to the M3 and national and international transport links.
