An opportunity has arisen to join our fantastic team at our fantastic Highgate team as a Lead Client Care Assistant.

Working at a busy veterinary practice, you will be responsible for ensuring both our clients and patients receive a professional five-star service throughout their time with us.

This role is fast-paced, high-pressured but fun, with no two working days the same.

We pride ourselves on providing the best standard of care to both our long-standing and new clients, always ensuring we are personal, professional, and empathetic.

Our front-of-house teams are the face and voice of our business therefore, this role is extremely valued within the hospital team.

Your Role And Responsibilities

  • Liaising with clients and the clinical team to ensure effective customer service
  • Meeting and greeting clients with an effortless smile
  • Booking appointments and diary management
  • Managing telephone and email enquiries
  • Taking payment for services and products
  • Promoting our fantastic Pet Healthcare Plan
  • Completing various administrative duties for the clinical team and the business
  • Managing cash, stock and client accounts
  • Opening up and closing the primary care services.

• Various administrative duties such as

  • Pet travel scheme paperwork / AHCs
  • Post op calls and Pre-op texts
  • Maintaining consult rooms
  • Uploading /printing lab results
  • Scanning paperwork
  • Meds collections texts
  • Inputting stock take (every 3 months)
  • Some restraining to help vets when limited staff
  • You may be required to cover shifts at our other pratices in Hertfordshire
  • Key Skills And Experience
  • Experience in a Reception or Customer Service role essential
  • Experience of Veterinary industry preferable
  • IT skills – confident in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook as a minimum
  • Excellent telephone and face-to-face communication skills
  • The ability to stay focused under pressure and to multitask
  • Flexibility to work on a rota basis
