Your Role And Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the day-to-day running of our busy referral centre as a full-time Client Finance Administrator reporting to the Finance Manager.
  • Work as part of a team and independently to support clients, patients, and clinical teams.
  • Reconcile Daily Takings.
  • Provide billing and finance support, covering sales, charges, and payments.
  • Assess and submit Insurance Claims in a timely manner.
  • Review accounts and clinical history to assist clients requiring a direct claim.
  • Assist clients with general finance and insurance queries, guiding policyholders on how to proceed with insurance claims and keeping them informed both verbally and in writing.
  • Ensure prompt and accurate payment of insurance shortfalls along with excess and co-payment liabilities.
  • Manage credit control for outstanding payments, insurance shortfalls, and payments direct from insurers.
  • Engage in telephone and face-to-face discussions with clients.

Veterinary/Animal experience or interest in this industry and an understanding of medical terminology is desired but not essential. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, with Saturday working on a rota basis (approximately 1 in 6-8 weeks).
