Salary: £26,701 per annum (FTE)

Location: 608 Vets, Solihull

Job Type: Fixed-term contract until July 2027

Hours: 29.25 hours per week on average

Shifts: Mon & Tues 8am - 7pm and Thurs 8am - 5pm, plus 1:4 Saturdays 8am - 1pm

Your role and responsibilities:

  • The role requires a caring, confident and mature approach to all aspects of veterinary practice and client care.
  • You will be vital in maintaining the high standards expected throughout our exceptional team.
  • You will work closely with the Client Care Manager to deliver an outstanding experience for clients and visitors.
  • An essential aspect of this role is to maintain a positive and friendly attitude.
  • The role is varied and will include (but is not limited to) the following:
    • Greeting clients, and their pets, with a friendly and helpful manner
    • Diary management
    • Maintaining accurate client records in line with data protection regulations
    • Day to day administrative duties including filing, debt management and processing insurance claims
    • Communicating with clients, colleagues, and the wider business face-to-face, through email and telephone
    • Maintaining the organisation and hygiene standards of the reception areas
    • Processing payments in various forms
    • Processing repeat medication requests.
