Role: Permanent – 4 x 12‑hour Night Shifts (7:30 pm to 7:30 am) – Average 24.1 hours per week

Located just off the M4 in Swindon, Wiltshire, Eastcott Veterinary Referrals is a Tier 3 multi‑disciplinary referral and primary care hospital committed to delivering exceptional patient care. You will work alongside highly experienced clinicians, nurses, and leadership teams across a variety of specialist services including:
- Internal Medicine
- Neurology
- Orthopaedics
- Soft Tissue Surgery
- Cardiology
- Dentistry
- Ophthalmology
- Diagnostic Imaging
- Emergency and Critical Care
- Primary Care
The Role As part of our dedicated night team, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding overnight patient care across wards and ICU. You will work closely with referral clinicians, the ECC Manager, nursing colleagues, and leadership teams to ensure patients receive the highest standards of care throughout the night. Your responsibilities will include:
- Nursing complex referral and ECC patients overnight
- Monitoring and managing ICU and inpatient cases
- Supporting patient recovery and continuity of care
- Working collaboratively across multiple referral disciplines
- Contributing to high clinical standards and team efficiency
Previous referral or out‑of‑hours experience would be beneficial, but it is not essential. Full training and support will be provided, making this a fantastic opportunity for nurses looking to transition into referral practice.
Flexible Working and Development We are currently looking for someone to work 4 x 12‑hour night shifts, however we can offer flexibility around the number of nights for the right candidate. You will also benefit from:
