Welcome and join us in our purpose‑built hospital! We are an RCVS accredited Primary Care Practice based in Guilford, offering the highest standard of veterinary care for small animals in a friendly and professional environment. Our practice is continuously updated to ensure the best care for pets through state‑of‑the‑art facilities and a dedicated team. We moved into our purpose‑built hospital in 2022 and are excited about the future. In this new space we offer orthopaedic surgeries and have vets with strong interest in exotic patients, backed by a radiography suite and an exotic ward. The team is passionate, close‑knit, and always eager to learn and deliver exceptional care. We provide over 150 hours of pre‑recorded CPD and modular courses, including an AVA‑accredited anaesthesia and analgesia course, and offer a robust induction to help you thrive.
Your role and responsibilities:
- Maternity cover for a nurse who is having her first baby.
- Full‑time basis with a 1:5 weekend rota (Saturdays only, following Monday off).
- Shifts ranging from 8am‑5pm or 10:30am‑7:30pm; flexible for longer shifts over 4 days.
- Scheduling of 3 procedures for nurses, daily nurse consults, and encouragement of projects and new skills.
- Participation in the purpose‑built facility’s perks and opportunities to maintain work‑life balance.
