Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours, Monday to Friday, with 1:12 Saturdays, 08:30-17:30 (paid in overtime) at our Warwick branch.

Salary: £25,646.40 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join our team at Avonvale Vets in Stratford-upon-Avon. We are looking for someone to welcome clients and their pets to the practice in a warm, professional manner and provide support to our friendly team. This is a busy, varied role, so previous experience would be preferable but not required. Ideal applicants will want to grow within the role, and we offer funded training, including courses with the BVRA, to support this.

Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming clients and their pets in a warm, professional manner
  • Managing the diary; booking in appointments and surgical procedures
  • Answering a range of client questions via email and telephone
  • Pro-active communication between clients and colleagues to ensure the day runs smoothly
  • Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc
  • Processing prescription requests
  • Taking payments
  • Promoting offers and services
  • Ensuring that reception is clean and well-stocked
