Hours: 4 days per week (variable) with participation in the OOH/on‑call rota, 1 in 4 evenings and 1 in 4 weekends including 1st on call (33%)
We are seeking an experienced board‑certified Small Animal Surgeon to join the Soft Tissue Surgery team at Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists. This role focuses on delivering high‑quality clinical care within a well‑established, multidisciplinary referral environment. You will contribute your expertise to patient care, support colleagues where appropriate, and help maintain high clinical standards and strong relationships with referring practices that underpin our service.
Your Role and Responsibilities
You will join three ECVS Diplomates as part of the surgery team alongside a team of around 40 referral clinicians. You will participate in the Soft Tissue referral service, including contributing to the weeknight and weekend out‑of‑hours service.
Qualifications
- Excellent English language skills
- Registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS)
- Board‑certified (ECVS or ACVS)

We have comprehensive and established clinical and non‑clinical programmes for training, development, and CPD. You can find us in Hampshire, just south of Winchester, close to the M3 and national and international transport links. We are in a serene countryside setting with state‑of‑the‑art facilities and are available to look after pets 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
