About us

The Warren House Veterinary Surgery first opened in 1982 at the Rochester site. Since starting the business, it has continually grown and is now a group of four small animal practices, all based in the Medway Towns. The branches all have 2 to 3 consulting rooms, separate dog and cat wards, prep rooms, and sterile surgical theatres. Each branch also has its own clinical facilities so that we can offer inhouse laboratory services, digital x-ray, and ultrasound facilities on all sites. We also have endoscopy facilities across the group, and our fabulous team of vets have a vast array of special interests from orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery to ophthalmology, dermatology, and complementary therapies. We are happy to employ the services of peripatetic specialist when needed as well, meaning our patients do not always need to travel to referral centres. We also support and encourage further study if this is something you wish to pursue. We have a fabulous senior leadership team to support both clinical and non-clinical teams. Additionally we have a Lead Vet across the group and in each branch a nurse lead and client care lead to offer further managerial support to the teams. Some of our team members have been with the company for over 30 years now and we have both full and part time associates as we have quite a flexible approach and understand that work needs to fit in around life. Currently we have 11 Vets on the team, 14 RVNs, 3 PCA's and a student nurse making up the clinical team. We also have 18 Client Care team members across the group to help meet the needs to our customers. Our teams work across the whole group supporting each other fully. Our Lordswood site works closely with the local cats Protection adoption centre and this branch has achieved the cat friendly clinic silver award. The team from that branch are now working with our other sites to help them achieve accreditations too.
