Join Our Neurology Nursing Team
We are looking for a motivated and passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our dedicated Neurology Nursing Team at Wear Referrals. Our state‑of‑the‑art hospital is staffed by highly skilled RVNs 24/7, 365 days a year, delivering exceptional referral and ECC care to every patient.
About the Team
You will be part of a well‑established, collaborative, and experienced surgical team that includes:
- Five European diplomate specialist surgeons
- Two Neurology Residents
- Surgical Interns
- Eight experienced RVNs
- Supported by Student Veterinary Nurses and Patient Care Assistants
What the Role Involves
This is a varied, rewarding, and hands‑on role covering the day‑to‑day cases within the Neurology department. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing complex inpatient care, including delivery of rehabilitation and physiotherapy
- Delivering anaesthesia for diagnostic imaging and a wide range of diagnostic and surgical procedures
- Conducting nurse consultations
- Working closely with our Anaesthesia and Imaging services
We actively encourage professional development and fully fund external CPD, including opportunities for further academic study.
About You
We’re looking for an RVN who is:
- Clinically skilled with excellent attention to detail
- A confident communicator
- Comfortable working within a rolling rota, including weekends and bank holidays
- Enthusiastic about referral nursing and committed to delivering exceptional patient care
Previous referral experience is advantageous but not essential; we provide full training and comprehensive support for RVNs joining us from primary care practice.
