Hours: 38.5 hours a week, over 4 days, occasional requirement to cover weekends or night shifts (approx. 4 shifts/year).

As one of the leading small animal referral centres in the UK, we have been delivering excellence in pet healthcare for over 10 years. We currently have a vacancy for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to come and join our amazing nursing team. Located on the edge of the beautiful Lake District in Milnthorpe, Cumbria, Kentdale is a specialist-led referral centre treating a wide range of surgical patients in our purpose-built veterinary hospital. Our service teams include Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery and Soft Tissue Surgery. This is a great opportunity for a rewarding career, working with an exceptionally friendly, professional and dedicated team.
The successful applicant will form a key part of the Veterinary Nursing team delivering exceptional patient care and the highest standards of clinical excellence to make a better world for pets.
Key duties will include:
- Monitoring of patients under anaesthesia
- Delivering care to our inpatient caseload
- Assisting the surgeons with procedures, ranging from elective surgeries through to emergency procedures
- Assisting the surgeon during surgery/patient preparation
- Assisting the surgeon with a variety of diagnostic imaging modalities
