Are you ready to take the next step into leadership? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead RVN to join our team across Highbury and Garden Suburb. This is a dual-site leadership role, ideal for a confident nurse looking to step into a position with autonomy, responsibility, and strong senior support.
The Role
This is a replacement position, covering both Highbury and Garden Suburb practices (both single-vet sites).
- Act as the Lead Nurse across both sites
- Provide line management to 2 PCAs (one at each site)
- Work closely with the Lead Vet at each practice
- Report into and be supported by the Clinical Nursing Manager (CNM)
This role offers genuine autonomy, with involvement in:
- Practice performance
- Day-to-day operations
- Supporting business growth and development
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Supporting vets with consultations and procedures
- Managing and monitoring day patients
- Running nurse consults
- Supporting PCAs with daily operational tasks
- Contributing to the smooth running of both practices
- Working alongside the CNM and leadership team on performance and improvements
This is a sole charge RVN role, requiring confidence and strong clinical ability.
The Team
Each site currently has:
- 1 Lead Vet
- 1 PCA (both highly experienced and long-standing team members)
You will be the only RVN across both sites, but you will be supported by:
- An experienced CNM
- Senior Leadership Team (SLT)
- The wider Winchmore Hill team (via weekend integration)
Working Pattern
8-hour shifts:
- 8:00am - 4:30pm
- 10:30am - 7:00pm
- Mix of early, mid, and late shifts (set rota)
- 1 in 4 Saturdays at Winchmore Hill
