Job Type: Permanent, full-time and part-time applications welcomed (flexible working patterns can be discussed)
Hours: 40 hours over an optional 4-5 days with a 1:4 Saturday rota (8.30am-2pm and 1:15 Sunday (8am-7pm paid extra) no nights, we have a dedicated night team!

An exciting opportunity to join our Glenfield Tier 3 RCVS-accredited Hospital in Leicester! Inpatient or Surgical interests can be supported! This role is ideally suited both to someone eager to work across all GP areas and will involve consulting and operating in equal measure, we also have the ability to offer a bias towards Inpatient care or Surgery if desired! We offer some fantastic referral, OOH, and advanced services, but we equally champion our primary care vets and the fantastic service we offer for routine and first opinion caseloads.

What we are looking for?
- RCVS registration and a minimum of 2 years general practice experience.
- Ability to perform routine neutering (cats and dogs of all sizes) without support – including FLANK cat spays.
- Ability to perform abdominal ultrasound, TFAST and AFAST imaging without support.
- Ability to perform exploratory laparotomies, splenectomies, GDVs, gastrotomy and enterotomy without support.
- Confidence with routine consults in 15 minutes and routine dental cases.
