Your role and responsibilities:
We are looking for a motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse for a multidisciplinary role. This position would allow an RVN with a desire to grow and develop within our nursing team. This is a full‑time position working 40 hours a week to include one in four Saturdays; there will be no OOHs or on call required. The successful candidate will work alongside an established team who appreciate the value this role would bring to the patient and client journey. There will be the opportunity to maintain nursing competency in all areas of the practice, with allocated shifts in wards, theatre, dental, radiography, nurse consults and lab. Schedule 3 procedures are encouraged and supported in our team. We offer a varied caseload and areas of interest are encouraged and supported. CPD is provided in‑house and externally and as a training practice the willingness to support student training is important. This is a brilliant opportunity for an RVN to join our friendly, motivated, and enthusiastic nursing team. You will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and work well in a large team. This position is based at our main Kirkcaldy site, but you will be required to work at our branches. A driving license is essential for this role.

About us:
We are a British Small Animal Veterinary Association approved practice and an Approved Training Centre, certified by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. St Clair Vets is a progressive, well‑equipped practice in Kirkcaldy that’s been at the very heart of our local community for many years. We have digital x‑ray, dental x‑ray, state of the art ultrasound machine and endoscopy. We have two theatres and 7 consult rooms. We have a separate cat waiting area inline with our gold ISFM status. We have separate dog and cat wards, with a further ward for our recovery / day patients. We have a set of cat condos in our newly refurbished cat ward which are in line with ISFM standards. We have upgraded our dog kennels. We use Antech blood machines and have the ability to test biochemistry, haematology, cortisol and urine and faeces in-house. We also have 2 branch surgeries. Cos Lane in Glenrothes and a second in Leven. Our branch surgery's are both consultation only. We take pride in providing a caring, compassionate, and friendly service to all our clients and their precious pets. With parking available and easy access to public transport, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a busy practice. We are also close to Edinburgh, with great transport links to the city.
