About us
At Cromwell Vets we pride ourselves on having the most supportive and experienced team around. We have vets studying or qualified with certificates in Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology, ECC, Ophthalmology, Diagnostic Imaging and Dentistry. Our hospital based in Huntingdon is fully equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound (including 5 probes with echocardiography), video-endoscopy (gastroscope, bronchoscope and small rigid endoscopes), full laparoscopy kit, dental x-ray, multi-parameter anaesthetic monitoring, tonometry, etc. This allows us to manage majority of our cases in-house. We host monthly in-house CPD where we learn from each other and share our knowledge, and are always keen to support certificates where possible, with a great caseload to achieve the casebooks required. Alongside this we have regular social events including the easter bunny hunt and great grass seed count, and you can occasionally find some of our team hiking mountains for charity. We are a Gold accredited ISFM cat friendly hospital with a separate calm and spacious cat ward. We also take sustainability seriously, and have been awarded Silver accreditation for investors in the environment. We truly believe in tailored work patterns with opportunities to work in the hospital, or one of our 5 branches depending on your preferences and areas of interest. Because we have a dedicated team of Twilight and Night vets, the position is for daytime only. There is no need to stay late as we have set aside time for rounds to allow excellent continuity of care.
