Patient Care Assistant
Location: Davies Veterinary Specialists
Job Type: Full‑time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week. 1:4 weekends
Responsibilities
The Patient Care Assistant supports nurses and interns to deliver high‑standard care. Responsibilities include providing hands‑on patient care, maintaining cleanliness and organisation, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily clinical activities.
Qualifications
• Highly organised and motivated team player. • Physically, mentally and emotionally fit to work with very ill patients. • Able to cope in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment. • Excellent communication skills. • Passion for delivering outstanding client and patient care. • Previous animal care experience is an advantage but not essential – full training will be provided.
