Due to ongoing growth at Wear Referrals, we are inviting applications for an experienced Grounds Maintenance/Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a similar role; a relevant gardening qualification would be preferred. The successful applicant will be responsible for the care of the grounds and gardens at Wear Referrals Veterinary Hospital and properties linked to the business. General maintenance of the grounds and repairs as necessary and to undertake a range of horticulture tasks to a high standard.

Other duties include:

  • Planting and pruning
  • Grass cutting
  • Weeding
  • Path cleaning
  • Good plant knowledge
  • Ability to undertake a wide range of other garden tasks including any other duties as requested

Must be willing to travel to other venues as required. This is a part-time position working an average of 8 hours per week. Times and days can be flexible.
