Location: End Cottage Vets, Howden
Shifts: Weekdays 08:00-15:00hrs or 12:30-19:30hrs as per rota. Saturdays 08:00-13:00hrs or 08:00-14:30 on a 1:3 rota.
End Cottage Vets are looking for a caring, organised, motivated individual to join our fantastic front-of-house admin team! Often the first point of contact with our clients, a receptionist's position is one of the most important within the practice, requiring efficiency, empathy and professionalism in equal measures.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Welcoming clients and visitors to End Cottage in a friendly approachable manner.
- Answering telephone calls, conveying messages and providing customer care advice.
- Booking appointments, processing information and requests using our Practice Management System thus ensuring correct patient records are available for the clinical team.
- Administration of prescription requests for internal and external pharmacies.
- Process payments, generate invoices and receipts, liaising with the clinical team to ensure correct charging.
- Maintain a clean, tidy reception area that is welcoming and fully stocked.
