We are currently seeking a new Receptionist to join our fantastic team! We would like to hear from candidates who are friendly, customer-focused and confident working in a busy environment. The position will best suit a proactive and enthusiastic individual with a passion for providing excellent customer service. Must be flexible to support all of our Veterinary Practices as required.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Welcoming and registering new customers.
- Booking in customers and making sure they receive gold standard care.
- Answering the telephone and dealing with a range of customer queries.
- Managing customer expectations regarding wait time.
- Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc.
- Taking payments.
- Promoting offers and services.
Our receptionists should create the image and the first impression of our business, remaining calm, courteous and professional at all times, regardless of a client or visitor’s behaviour. Our receptionists should make a positive impression and make clients feel confident in our service as a whole and help to put them at ease if they are worried or apprehensive.
Experience required:
- Confident using the telephone
- Reception or Client Care experience
- Cash handling and till operation
- Previous experience of working in a veterinary/doctors surgery (Desirable)
- IT skills - confident in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook as a minimum
