Hours: 32.6 hours per week. Plus Saturdays on a rota basis

City Vets are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate receptionist to join our friendly and forward-thinking team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to enhance your customer service skills. The role requires a caring, confident and mature approach to all aspects of veterinary practice and client care. This role is vital to maintaining the high standards expected throughout our exceptional team. You will work closely with the Client Care Manager to deliver an outstanding experience for clients and visitors. An essential aspect of this role is to maintain a positive and friendly attitude.
Your role and responsibilities
- Greeting clients and their pets with a friendly and helpful manner
- Diary management
- Maintaining accurate client records in line with data protection regulations
- Day to day administrative duties
- Communicating with clients, colleagues, and the wider business face-to-face, through email and telephone
- Maintaining the organisation and hygiene standards of the reception areas
- Processing payments in various forms
- Processing repeat medication requests
