The critical care department at Willows Referral Service is pleased to offer a 1‑year Emergency and Critical Care Discipline‑Specific Internship Training Programme. This programme provides intensive training in clinical skills essential for managing critically ill veterinary patients, and enables veterinarians to expand their critical care knowledge base in preparation for future training in a critical care residency. The role includes weekend working on a 1:3 rota to support the primary care out‑of‑hours team, with compensatory days off provided.

Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills and a very good command of spoken and written English.
- Minimum of two years’ postgraduate experience in practice.
- Preferably completion of a one‑year rotating internship or equivalent.
- Ability to work with a multi‑disciplinary team dedicated to the highest level of patient care.
