The Dermatology Department at Willows Referral Service is delighted to offer a 1-year Dermatology Internship Training Programme designed to prepare aspiring veterinarians for advanced training and specialization in dermatology.

What We Offer:

  • Intensive training in the diagnosis and management of dermatological conditions in veterinary patients.
  • Hands-on experience with medical, diagnostic, and therapeutic dermatology techniques.
  • Structured learning to build a solid foundation in dermatological diseases and treatments.
  • Exposure to a multidisciplinary team working collaboratively to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Weekend working on a 1:3 rota, supporting the primary care out-of-hours team, with compensatory days off for weekend shifts.

Who Should Apply:

  • Motivated veterinarians with a passion for dermatology.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of two years’ postgraduate experience in practice.
  • Completion of a one-year rotating internship or equivalent is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English are essential.

In-patient care is a priority, with 24-hour care provided by our team of Interns, Nurses, and other Clinical Support staff. The practice is iCatCare accredited at Gold Level.
