We are looking for a proactive and people-focused Client Care Advisor to join our established reception team. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. The position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and genuinely enjoys client interaction and administrative responsibilities in equal measure.

- Processing client queries and requests across email, phone, and face-to-face interactions
- Handling payments and maintaining accurate client records
- Processing repeat medication requests in line with protocol
- Managing the practice’s social media presence (e.g., creating and posting internal updates and client-facing content)
- Proactively handling debt collection, including confidently phoning clients regarding outstanding payments
- Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Ensuring reception and waiting areas are tidy, welcoming, and well-organised
- Working closely with the Client Care Manager and wider team to ensure an excellent client experience
What We’re Looking For
- A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
- Someone with proven customer service experience (experience in care-related fields is also valued)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- A calm, compassionate, and solutions-focused attitude
- Comfortable using systems and technology for both admin and social media purposes
- Confidence in managing financial discussions and chasing debts in a respectful but effective manner
- Someone who thrives in a team environment but can take ownership of individual responsibilities
- A positive personality with the ability to bring warmth and energy to client interactions
Benefits Include:
- 5 weeks of annual leave plus bank holidays
- Birthday day off
- 30-minute paid lunch break each day
- Weekly fruit delivery to the practice
- Automatic registration with the BVRA (British Veterinary Receptionist Association) and support to complete Bronze, Silver, and Gold awards
- Ongoing opportunities for personal and professional development through in-house and external training
If you are enthusiastic about client care, confident in communication, and bring both warmth and reliability to everything you do, we’d love to hear from you.
