Hours: 42 hours a week – 4 day week with 1 routine day off, with 1 daytime weekend in 4. Friday off after working the weekend. Predictable pattern of weekly working.
Are you passionate about delivering high standard clinical care, while building lasting relationships with clients and fellow colleagues? Village Vet has an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian with at least 2+ years' experience to work at our Cambridge sites, primarily based at our Whittlesford and Royston practices but may be expected to cover other sites. Sharing your time between Whittlesford, covering consults and op days and working to provide a high quality primary care general practice experience for our patients and clients. Royston is our smaller branch site, which is sole charge but works closely with both the experienced Whittlesford team and our 24hr hospital at Milton.
Village Vet provide first-class veterinary care to the pets of Cambridge, Whittlesford, Royston and surrounding villages. Our friendly team have established a loyal client following in the heart of the community in the south of the Cambridge region.

- Patient/Clinical care: Working to high level of clinical care within a team. Village Vet prides itself on working to a very high standard of care and supports RCVS Practice Standards Scheme
- Client care: We strive for exceptional levels of client service and satisfaction
- Teamwork: Working within your team, and the wider hospital teams, to contribute your skills, efforts and personal strengths to help always ensure a harmonious team ethos
