Paragon is a purpose-built multidisciplinary referral hospital in the north of England just outside the City of Wakefield close to the beautiful Yorkshire countryside with excellent road links to local airports at Leeds and Manchester. We are offering a 1 year internship in Diagnostic Imaging. The successful candidate will benefit from working alongside some of the country’s leading specialists, supported by a team of skilled and compassionate veterinary nurses at a centre committed to providing the highest quality of care.

Working as part of our team supporting our colleagues in other disciplines you will:

  • Perform and report ultrasound scans under the guidance of two experienced diagnostic imagers
  • Perform CT, MRI and fluoroscopic studies after full training
  • Develop skills in producing high quality diagnostic imaging reports on radiographic, CT, fluoroscopic and MRI studies.

Requirements for this position are:

  • You will have at least 2 years post graduate experience in either small animal or mixed practice
  • Completion of a 1 year rotating small animal multi-disciplinary internship at a referral hospital or equivalent clinical experience in small animal practice
  • You must be a MRCVS and have a strong interest in small animal Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging.
  • You must have good spoken and written English.

The role will be a 5 day working week allowing for excellent work life balance with the opportunity for career progression within diagnostic imaging.
