Located in the beautiful town of Haslemere, we offer a varied and rewarding caseload where nurses are encouraged to fully utilise and develop their clinical skills alongside a supportive and experienced veterinary team.

As an outstanding training practice, we are passionate about creating an environment where student nurses feel supported, encouraged, and confident throughout their training journey. You will be joining a friendly and collaborative team consisting of two RVNs and a PCA, with dedicated support from experienced clinical coaches.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is already enrolled as a student veterinary nurse, or for a Patient Care Assistant ready to take the next step into nurse training.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, including a paid day release to attend college each week. You will rotate through all areas of the practice, gaining hands-on experience across a broad range of nursing duties while developing your confidence and clinical skills in a supportive environment. You will also receive dedicated one-to-one time with your trained Clinical Supervisor to support your learning and progression throughout your training. The role includes participation in the weekend rota, working 1 in 4 Saturday mornings.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Applicants should either:

  • Already be enrolled as a Student Veterinary Nurse, or
  • Be working as a Patient Care Assistant and ready to progress into formal nurse training
