We are seeking an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our Theatre Nursing Team, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 2:00pm and 10:00pm. This role is ideal for a confident, motivated RVN who thrives in a fast-paced referral environment and enjoys being at the heart of surgical patient care.
The Role
As a Twilight Surgery RVN, you will play a vital role in supporting our evening and emergency surgical caseload, working closely with our surgeons, anaesthetists, nursing colleagues and interns. Your role will include:
- Supporting emergency and urgent surgical cases
- Acting as a scrub nurse across a wide range of advanced procedures
- Anaesthetic monitoring for complex referral cases
- Assisting with theatre preparation, recovery, and patient flow
- Maintaining the highest standards of infection control, patient safety, and theatre practice
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary hospital team
