Location: Cave Veterinary Specialists

Salary: £26,701 pro-rated to £20,025.75 per annum

Job type: Permanent, part-time

Hours: 30 hours per week (pro-rata) - Night shifts 7pm-7am and Weekend shifts 9am-6pm

Shifts:

  • Week 1 = 2 weekend days, 5 nights
  • Week 2 = 9 off
  • Week 3 = 5 nights
  • Week 4 = 9 off
  • Week 5 = 5 nights
  • Week 6 = 7 off

Are you an animal lover with a passion for providing exceptional care? We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our friendly and welcoming night team. Working alongside our dedicated and experienced night team, including 2 RVNs and PCA team, your job responsibilities will include:

  • Cleaning and preparing theatres for surgical procedures
  • Cleaning and sterilising surgical instruments
  • Stocking consumables in preparation areas and assisting theatre staff
  • Providing inpatient care with the nursing team.

Candidates must be competent at handling a variety of species. The role also includes maintaining cleanliness across the hospital.
